Isolde de Ridder, an experienced artisan, is the driving force behind this project. With a deep commitment to sustainability and a passion for repurposing materials, she has taken old circuit boards and recycled silver to craft one-of-a-kind jewellery pieces.
Craftsmanship & commitment
I like to introduce myself, I’m a goldsmith with a profound dedication to sustainability. With a career rooted in the art of jewelry-making, I’ve carved a unique path that resonates with my core values. My work is a testament to the transformative power of creativity and environmental consciousness.
My journey began with a realisation that the jewellery industry, like many others, has a significant environmental footprint. Determined to make a difference, I embarked on a mission to create jewellery that not only dazzles but also treads lightly on the planet.
My signature approach is the artful repurposing of materials. Old circuit boards, discarded electronic components, and recycled silver all find new life in my hands. I believe that beauty can be found in unexpected places, and my work epitomises this philosophy.
My creations are more than just jewellery; they are wearable stories that serves as a powerful reminder that we can reimagine our relationship with materials, fostering a circular economy where nothing goes to waste.
In a world where fast fashion and disposable culture have become the norm, I hope to stand as a beacon of hope for a more sustainable future.
Ofcourse I can’t change the world on my own. I count myself very lucky to be supported by so many (you know who you are!).
